About This Database

The purpose of this bibliographic database is to help natural resource managers, researchers, policy makers, students, and interested members of the public find more information about the land-use and land cover history of the Colorado Plateau.

This bibliography includes nearly 2000 references from published books, peer-reviewed journals, government agency surveys and reports, and non-government agency and consulting firm documents. It also includes selected websites that we found informative. The database does not include popular articles, newspaper articles or editorials, computer databases, or map products.

CP-LUHNA is not a repository for these documents, and so cannot provide them if requested. Documents should be sought from their original sources (e.g., author, agency, library, or publisher).

We hope that this bibliography serves as a valuable tool to future management, conservation, and research on the environmental history of the Colorado Plateau.
